"not for your f*cking pleasure" confronts the objectification of women’s bodies and the cycles of violence that stem from this perspective. the work combines a chair—symbolizing how women are often reduced to objects—with a plaster cast of my body, reflecting personal and collective trauma.
hanging beneath the chair is a cyanotype fabric collage of self-portraits, rejecting the gaze that consumes women’s bodies and reclaiming my own image on my terms. this piece is a declaration of autonomy, self-worth, and wholeness—a refusal to conform to societal expectations that define women as objects for pleasure.
