alexxis victoria gonzalez is a visual artist, vinyl dj, educator, and community organizer born in the san fernando valley. her work explores identity, memory, love, and belonging through photography, archives, sculpture, and mixed media. she is interested in art as a form of storytelling and connection, and in creating work that feels intimate, reflective, and rooted in lived experience.
across her practice, gonzalez centers care, intention, and process. her work often moves beyond the individual, creating space for shared reflection and collective meaning through art. she is drawn to projects that invite presence, dialogue, and a deeper relationship to self and community.
gonzalez is a co-founder + director of communications and media for @iam.healin, a community-based project offering art-, sound-, and movement-centered workshops rooted in accessibility, care, and connection.
