this project documents my journey through Yucatán and my grandmother’s pueblo, where I reconnected with my father after years of separation. it traces ancestral roots, celebrates the resilience and beauty of the land, and explores the sense of home within myself. through these photographs, I capture the vibrancy of the land, the sacredness of community, and the quiet strength of those who inhabit it. the work reflects healing generational wounds and rebuilding relationships, connecting personal experience to cultural legacy.
